We organize the small-scale daily maintenance that is officially the tenants' responsibility by means of a Service Subscription ('Serviceabonnement'). It concerns repairs needed for taps, plug sockets and such like. This Service Subscription, which is intended for occupants in city-centre buildings ('stadspanden') and apartments, is a voluntary extension of the service costs. The tenants living in the city-centre buildings pay € 1,88 per month (as of July 1 2009), and those in apartments € 4,08 per month (as of July 1 2009). 

Application

The service subscription can be taken out any day and is valid for a minimum of a year. After a year, cancellation of your subscription will be possible at any time, and must be done in writing with one month's notice.

Living in a city-centre building?

Then you and your housemates can take out a Service Subscription together. Individual Service Subscriptions are not possible, so each occupant in a city-centre lodging must agree to the joint service subscription. It is valid for a minimum of a year and can be terminated in writing, provided all occupants agree. Each new lodger in a city lodging that has a service subscription pays for it automatically.
