Both SSH and the tenant are responsible for maintenance:

Tenant: small-scale, daily maintenance

SSH: large-scale, radical maintenance

Small-scale daily maintenance

Costs for small-scale daily maintenance are for you, the rest is paid for by SSH-Utrecht.

Small-scale daily maintenance would not only include repairing window and door locks and handles on the inside of the accommodation but also doing inside paintwork and cleaning and unclogging toilets, sinks, gutters and drains. 

If you are renting a room in IBB, TWC, Warande, Cambridgelaan, Otterstraat, De Bisschoppen, Casa Confetti or Enny Vredelaan, the SSH has agreed to take over the tenants' responsibility for small scale daily maintenance for a small fee. It concerns repairs for such things as taps and plug sockets, for which you pay € 1,55 per month via the service costs (service maintance).
